You're invited to a concert at Allium Farm with country/folk songwriter Sarah Jane Scouten. Originally from Nex̱wlélex̱wm Bowen Island, Sarah Jane now lives in Dumfries & Galloway in South West Scotland. Her records have been likened to Nanci Griffith, Iris Dement, Gillian Welch and Emmylou Harris, and have garnered 4 Canadian Folk Music Award nominations. Her latest album "Turned to Gold" has been called an "unendingly lovely record" by the Georgia Straight. Prior to the concert, you're invited to an informal herb walk around the farm, with Sarah Jane who also works as a medical herbalist in the UK.
